Styling with a Soundtrack

by Ma Yafit

The newly renovated Salon at 183 Clinton Street bet. Grand and E'Bway, nestled in the strip anchored by the Post Office and Citibank, is open for business. When you walk into the shop you feel such a difference in atmosphere. Everything is new: The shop is completely refitted, including new hair stylist work stations, and shampoo and pedicure/manicure facilities. The aquamarine color theme that proprietor Eleanor Berardis selected feels bright and royal, and the music—Berardis is very proud of her eclectic choice—From the 3 Tenors to Country, Soft Rock to Sinatra. This new addition to the neighborhood offers a wide range of new unisex services and you can’t help feeling warmly greeted by young professional staff.
