 Here’s the next step in our efforts to create an educated, on-going discussion about the Seward Park Extension Urban Renewal Plan. It’s just gone up, so some of the areas are under construction. But I encourage you to help our staff put together a rich library of documents about the history of SPURA, and any and all relevant texts. During the month of November we’re planning to rev up the discussion, leading to an open forum about SPURA, involving local residents – but without politicians. Everyone is welcome to add their voices, including all the political shades, but we prefer to include elected officials in the discussion only when we’ve fashioned a serious plan of our own of what to do with this 5-block untapped development treasure. |
